NO MORE GROUNDHOGS!

At least in our garden! We recently discovered a groundhog eating our garden. NOT a good thing! Then we found that it lived under a stack of pallets we have right beside the afore-mentioned garden. So my brothers (mainly Daniel) and Dad set out to rid our yard of this animal.

After numerous futile efforts, Mom called the Pound and a large trap was set. The next day a groundhog was caught. However, the trap remained where it was: there were 2 groundhogs! Thankfully we're now "groundhog free" at our house (the other wasn't caught, but we believe it was the one someone ran over down the road), and our beans are safe! :)

neet... good riddance.
You had pretty mild pests ... I have deer .. I wish i could have a big box trap for them..... fencing, electric etc has to totally stopped them yet.. I am thinking the old 30-06 will be the solution. but how to hide 20 deer bodies.??????

Hi Hannah! My name is Erica, and I found your blog because I was browsing the S&S forum (I'm FaithRewarded there, but I don't post a whole lot), and clicked the link to your blog.

I was reading the thread with pics of your new regency dress(in the Show&Tell section), and I had to laugh! I have hair similar to yours. Once I was in the grocery store and an acquaintence who was there asked if I was on my way to prom...wow. Another time the checkout lady at Menards, after complimenting me on my perm and then learning it wasn't a perm, went on and on about how she had spent hours at a salon trying to get hair like mine...I didn't know what to say!

I hated my hair until I started doing Curly Girl, and now it's so low maintenance that I like it. Although sometimes when I'm playing with my friends' beautiful, soft, long, silky hair, I wish mine was straight. But for the most part I like it.

Anywho, I can get to rambling! I'm looking forward to browsing your blog!

Vernon, I'm sorry. Deer are pretty, but I can imagine that they would be pests! :)

Erica, Hi! I recognize your name. :) Thanks for looking at my blog!
LOL! Curly hair is fun, though sometimes it gets in the way! :P I've had someone ask if I had a perm, but not a stranger.
