Pizza Night...

A "new" tradition began in my family this past February: Friday Pizza Night at the Pink House :) My sisters have always made really good pizzas and one Friday someone (I think maybe Angela) decided to invite people to come for pizza. Since then every Friday night we've invited our friends to join us and have had wonderful times of fellowship. And we don't just make and serve pizza: we have the "famous" chocolate chip cookies (the ones we sold to get to Jamestown in '07)! I can say without bias that these cookies are probably the very best I've ever had! Over the past several weeks we've added another part of Pizza Night: singing. This has become one of my favorite parts of the evening, complete with singing praises, and praying. :) Sometimes we have a whole crowd (especially when the A. family comes), and sometimes only a few people appear at our door.
So, what is the point of this post (in case you didn't already figure it out)? First, to invite you all to our house for Pizza Night. Second, to get a new post up here! :D

Derek on one of those first pizza nights. (I don't know where the ice cream came from, we don't usually have any)

As a second thought, another fun activity that we've done for Pizza Night is Super Uno. It's a fun game, a lot like normal Uno except with a bunch of new rules. It's fun with just a few people... and crazy with a whole crowd! The largest group I've done it with was one night when the A. family, Rob, Abe, Joshua, Liz, Justin, Kim and Heidi came. Most of the younger kids, and all of the parents, did not play, but those of us who did had a blast!

Going in for the slap....

And in... now to get back out :P
