Hello!!!!

Hi Everybody!!! Wow, it seems like it's been a long time since I've actually done a real post, not one of these with a video, a repost of something, or just a few pictures! :D But the truth is, we haven't done a whole lot lately. The boys and I have, of course, been working on school, and then I've been reading, writing and sewing... and working on music a bit too. :) We've gotten quite a bit of snow lately, and Amber, Angela and the boys made an igloo (lifeatthepinkhouse.blogspot.com). Now that the snow in our yard has melted, that igloo looks kind of funny just standing there all by itself! Amber and Angela have had their babysitting jobs and Abbie has been doing most of the cooking and such around here. She's about to go to Crystal's house to help until the baby comes, so I'll be doing more of the cooking... along with A&A. Amber, Angela and I are taking Abbie down this weekend. Unfortunately, in our rather boring (haha, boring? yeah right!) lives we haven't gotten a lot of pictures lately so I really don't have any to post, so you'll just have to make do with this "video" which only has one picture on it (and, despite what it may look like it has before you turn it on, the picture during the song is modest), with a song by one of my favorite singers: Lisa Kelly!





I can hardly believe it's already February! It seems like winter just started and yet here it is, February, March is in a few months, and then SPRING!
For those of you who don't know, remember that Worship Song contest I mentioned several months ago? Well, thanks to all of my wonderful friends and family, I won! I was... completely amazed! This was the 3rd year (I think) that I've entered the contest. Thank you so much for your votes, everybody! I've really enjoyed playing my new guitar :) Also, I can't remember if I told you, I have a piano! Actually, Mom found it for a good price at Salvation Army, back in September. So now we have 2 pianos... both of which are out of tune, so if you know how to tune a piano and feel like doing a couple, we'd love to get them both tuned!! ;)
Have you ever had a favorite style of music but not been able to find many songs of that style that are actually Christian? I've come up against that problem recently: I LOVE Celtic music, like Celtic Woman sings, but I don't know of many Christian songs of that same style :( Yes, I know of a couple but that's about it.

Oh... just to let you know, Collin, over at http://collinmizells.blogspot.com/ is working on getting 55 followers... he's doing a drawing when he's got 'em... just so you know! :D
