Books, books and more books. :) part 2

Joyce Matthews has raised her brother from a child, helping prepare him for the presidency of the family business. But when he joined the army and disappeared in East Berlin, finally returning and becoming a silent, sullen young man, she is over her head trying to renew his interest in life and the business. A sudden whim of Gene's takes them out to his birth place which they had left 20 years earlier, and Joyce finds herself in the middle of an odd, un-imagined turn in life.

This is one of Amber and Angela's favorite books, and has become one of mine since we read it together, the first time for me. :) Francena H. Arnold has written numerous books, I haven't read them all, just 4 (Not My Will, A Light In My Window, Deepening Stream, and - of course! - A Brother Beloved), but I have thoroughly enjoyed them all! :)
I would readily recommend any one of these, and probably the ones I haven't read! :)
