You know that feeling you get when you get when you know another blog post is overdue and yet you don't know what to write about? Well, I've got that feeling right now. I've had the feeling for way too long but I really, honestly don't know what to write about. And it's not that I don't have anything to write about.. My life is full and blessed just now! So why am I having this problem? I don't know. Therefore I have decided to just write... and see if what I write actually gets posted. :)
What have I been doing lately? Well, it often seems like almost all I ever do is work. Truth be told, though, I really only have work 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday with a good 3-day weekend. The weekend is, of course, my favorite time of the week. That's when I can stay home and work on things I couldn't get to while I was at work. And it's when I get to talk to a very special friend of mine. :)
I haven't been able to sew a lot lately but I've gotten a bit done. There are several projects I have in mind, if I can just get the stuff to make them. One project I have most of the materials and it's actually started already too. Ever seen I watched "The Mask of Zorro" last year I've wanted to make an outfit like the one Elena wore in the dance scene.
There are several other things I want to make, only one of them being REALLY necessary, that one being a dress for Amber's wedding in May. Only problem is, that is also the only one of them that I really don't have much of an idea of what I need. It'll be short-sleeves (cap sleeves most likely) and tea length but that's about all I know at this point. The other 2 are an 1800s costume (yes, I know, rather vague, but I like it that way :D ) and a white dress. For a while I've wanted just a simple white summer dress that I can wear any color with. Something that won't look funny with a pretty sash, a wrap or even a hat. I am very much in the mood to sew. For a while I think I almost forgot how much I like it, but when I did a bit again - well, I'm in love once more. :D I just hope I haven't startled anyone with the sudden explosion of clothes on my pinterest. :) And I have decided I really like tunic tops. That is another fairly necessary sewing project I have in mind: several tunics to wear for work with my jeans. I have found that pinterest DOES come in handy when looking for clothing ideas.
Lila Rose recently came out with some new flexi-clips! I think my favorite would have to be the Music Lover clip. I can't wait until it arrives! Another one I'm expecting is the Rosey Heart clip designed exclusively for this February. I think those 2 clips have got to be the prettiest they've had so far!
And... there's some rambling for ya but it's time for me to go ahead and post this so I shall stop. Au revoir!

That was a fun post to read, Hannah. I enjoyed it. :) It was simple but informative. I hope you get time to sew those things. I know what it's like to want to do something and not have the time. (Only I'd NEVER pick sewing! ;) )
